Childhood Through NYC’s Seasons

Series 01

I was raised in the countryside, in a village where animals outnumbered people. The outdoors was our playground, where we built forts from sticks and leaves, cooled off in rivers on hot summer days, and eagerly awaited snowy days to sled down hills on makeshift sleds crafted from plastic bags. Now, as a mom raising a child in NYC, I often wonder: how do kids grow up here? This is the inspiration behind my ongoing photography series that aims to capture childhood moments throughout the seasons in this vibrant and adventurous urban playground.
